Wildwood Lakefront State Park stream and wetland restoration project public information session

Wildwood State Park Project Site

Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District, our project partners and consultants, are hosting a public information session to discuss the planned stream and wetland restoration project along Euclid Creek in Wildwood State Park. The session will be held at Euclid Hospital’s Waltz Auditorium, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. The $1.4 million project is funded through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, administered through the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Euclid Hospital is located at 18901 Lakeshore Boulevard. Those attending the session should not park in the emergency parking area; there is ample parking elsewhere at the hospital.

Those with questions can contact Euclid Creek Watershed coordinator Claire Posius at (216) 524-6580, x16 or email cposius@cuyahogaswcd.org. There are also details at the project website, http://www.cuyahogaswcd.org/EuclidCreekFiles/EC_LacustrineRefuge.htm.
