Happy 40th Birthday Bailey Toastmasters!

Patty Ferris, third from left, and Allan Siverls, second from right, celebrate their winning presentations in the recent Bailey Toastmasters International Speech and Evaluation contest.

This April, Bailey Toastmasters celebrates 40 years of helping people become better public speakers and leaders. On April 1st, 1978, the club chartered at the former Bailey Meter company in Wickliffe and over the years, has migrated to the Euclid Public Library. Originally a corporate club, Bailey Toastmasters is now open to the public.

Each Toastmaster’s club mission it to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

The current Bailey Toastmasters membership includes a nurse, elementary school teacher, federal government employee, funeral director, payroll officer, aspiring entertainer, lawyer, a sports and fitness instructor and many others who are working toward improving their presence in the workplace, at home and in their communities.

Please come and visit us any Thursday at the Euclid Public Library from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to occasional lack of room availability, we sometimes meet at other venues, so please check out our website, http://3628.toastmastersclubs.org/ to verify our meeting place.
