Happy Twelfth Birthday E. 200th Street Stroll !

Stroll Day Volunteers are ready to help us all have fun.

      The Stroll Family has already assembled for two breakfasts and one lunch (we love to eat) in our attempt to plan and organize a celebration worthy of our favorite street.  We have had lots of fun sharing stories of past gatherings and how we have matured (or maybe not) in our party-planning wisdom over the years. 

       We’ve received rsvps from our business friends on the street and friends representing great organizations throughout the community.  We’re looking for them to bring lots of fun and good information to share with the party goers.  Our very musically talented friends - Jarred Goldweber and the Park Brothers - are going to join us.  Bring your dancing shoes and your lawn chair to the 503 Building from 11 am to 2 pm to enjoy some great Blues music.  On the south end of E. 200th Street,Steve Savor – owner of Tire 200 – will be hosting our new friends from Radio One with a DJ and some party music and games.

     Once you arrive at the party, you can rely on Lolly the Trolley and John and Joe’s snazzy vehicles – the Euclid Beach Rocket Ship car and the Thriller car – to get you to where you want to go.  Your purchase of a $2 ride bracelet for each person you brought to the party will keep you mingling with other attendees until 1:45 pm when our Stroll party starts to wind down.  Stop at Information Booths at Our Lady of the Lake, Home Depot or on the Trolley to purchase your bracelets.

       Handwritten thank you notes are being sent to the generous Stroll “family” members who have contributed cash in their cards.  (Thank goodness no one gave us socks and underwear!)         So, join us at the Stroll’s 12th Birthday Party - the E. 200th Street Stroll – on Saturday, June 2 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Remember - when you’re done partying with your Stroll Family, our next door neighbors – E. 185 Street – will be Walking and Rolling and continuing the fun from 2 pm to 6 pm.
