Euclid City Council President will appear at LCS October Meeting

October 11 LCA Guest Speaker Euclid City Council President Charlene Mancuso

Charlene Mancuso, president of the Euclid City Council, will speak at the next public meeting of the Lakeland Civic Association to be held October 11th at 7:00pm at the Wickliffe Public Library.

Mancuso has spoken often at LCA's regular meetings. At October's meeting she will address members and attendees and will be available to take their questions on the several issues that face Euclid residents on the city's November ballot. LCA chair, Kevin Jones and vice-chair Karen Lewin will dedicate the bulk of their meeting to Mancuso's appearance.

LCA invites members and non-members alike to attend this important gathering. Members will conduct official business as it does regularly. In the case of October's meeting, officers Jones and Lewin will invite questions and comments from all who attend, members or not.

The Lakeland Civic Association was officially recognized as a Euclid City neighborhood association in 1952 and has remained active in city issues and issues of interest to the owners and residents of the 425+ properties that comprise its development. Its official boundaries include homes bounded by the southern side of Forestview Avenue, and on other sides by E272nd Street and Walnut Drive.

Any and all owners or residents within the association's traditional boundaries always are welcome to attend LCA meetings. LCA leadership conducts official business in an inclusive and very relaxed manner. This especially will be true at their October meeting, since important city-wide issues will be on its agenda.

At their October 11th meeting, president and meeting chair Kevin Jones will make available to attendees voter guides and other pertinent information of interest to LCA residents and members.

Kevin Jones

President, Lakeland Civic Association
