Help Foundation serves people who have developmental disabilities to live their lives to the fullest! People like our good friend George who lives in our Six Chimneys Apartments in Cleveland’s Midtown neighborhood. Six Chimneys is home to 46 adults who each live in their own apartment, on their own terms, with Help staff providing assistance and support so they can lead active and independent lives.

George thrives at Six Chimneys where he is known a fun loving practical jokester that loves playing good humored pranks on his friends, hosting video gaming parties in his apartment, and shooting pool in the Six Chimney’s recreation room.  When the weather is nice, his favorite thing to do is to walk to Tower City to check out the new games at GameStop where staff are glad to see him and know him by name.  Cold and rain don’t keep George from going out, as he is well versed in Cleveland’s public transportation systems and can get himself wherever he’d like to go.

Each year Help empowers more than 600 individuals like George who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, work, and learn as respected and valued members of their community.
