Kiddie City Hosts Family Tea Party

Kiddie City Childcare Community recently hosted a "Springtime Tea Party" for parents, grandparents, and other "special" family members.  The children created their own special placemats for their guests and made colored carnation centerpieces, using food coloring in water.  For several days prior to the event, the Pre-Schoolers were able to observe their carnations change from white flowers to colored flowers through the scientific process of transpiration.   Each child enjoyed cupcakes and tea with their hosted guests.  The morning culminated with the Pre-School students singing "I'm a Little Teapot" and planting seeds with their families. Check out the Kiddie City photo gallery of Tea Party pictures!
