Lakeland Civic Association Membership Drive

The Lakeland Civic Association will hold its June meeting Thursday the 29th at 7:00PM at the Wickliffe Library. Members and guests will set plans for their annual summer events, including the Independence Day Bike Parade, and Neighborhood Summer Picnic. The LCA also will be preparing for its annual membership drive.

The decades-old organization has been a positive gathering for residents of the Euclid's easternmost neighborhood comprised of the F&S Homes development. It sits within the area bounded by 272nd Street, Forestview and Walnut Avenues. Founded in 1952, during the period when most of its homes were still being built, the Lakeland Civic Association remains active in several areas. Its meetings often feature guest speakers from City and county governments.Membership dues remain at $10/year. Members include property owners as well as residents who rent homes all of whom benefit from the representation and advocacy that its decades of activity have encouraged. Some long-standing members voluntarily raise their contributions with an eye toward maintaining LCA's presence social and political presence in the City of Euclid.

LCA's annual membership drive encourages all residents to join, support, and participate in its activities. It always looks toward expanding participation among property owners new and old. Renters are encouraged to join, too. All neighborhood residences will receive the summer newsletter which will be delivered along with convenient dues envelopes.
