Create-A-Craft Studio Celebrates 4 years in business with a pARTy!

Four years ago, Create-A-Craft owner Eileen Sheehan turned the key to her studio, flipped on the lights, opened the windows, and welcomed her first day of guests. Since then, locals have come into the studio to discover themselves through creativity and self-expression. Offerings like paint your own pottery and canvas painting allow even the most inexperienced artists to create something unique. Visiting artists have come to the studio to teach their craft as well; needle felting, succulent planting, jewelry making, advanced painting, collage, along with a myriad of other fine arts and craft classes, have shaped the studio into the creative hub that it is today. Artists Angela Michelle of SooCrafty Creations and Amy Bennett of pARTners Project Studio share the studio space as well, offering specialized craft classes as well as provide a studio for adult artists with Autism, respectively.

On Saturday July 20th, 10AM-4PM, Create-A-Craft will be open and celebrating four years in business with a festival pARTy! Local artists who have previously taught classes at the studio will be featured and set up to sell their creations. Linda Zolten Wood has taught acrylic painting classes in the studio and will have her handmade jewelry and ceramic pieces for sale. You can also learn about and sign up for her painting classes which start again in the fall. SooCrafty Creations will be selling her handmade jewelry and crochet items as well as leading our rock painting table which will be a free craft for visitors to paint a rock for a garden at Shore Cultural Centre. Feel free to bring a few rocks to paint! Leave one at Shore and take one home! Locally famous collage artist Perris Mackey will be selling his original collage prints and sharing his art making process. Henna artist Nivi will return to the studio for the fourth time to share her Henna tattoo artistry. Her all organic and homemade henna tattoos can be purchased on site and will adorn your skin with the intricately beautiful patterns and designs that only she can create! Canvas paintings created by Eileen Sheehan during her various painting classes will be for sale for only $14.99! Pottery painting will be available, as well as other fun make and takes. Celebrate with a piece of cake while supporting Euclid's only public art studio!
