Euclid Summer Swim Team Making A Splash This Season!

Euclid Panther Swim Team Member Christina Lombardo is "Panther Proud"!

The Eucild Panthers Summer Swim Team is off to a strong start with 3 meets completed and 85 members building their swim skills this season.

Head Coach Bryan Scheider with Assistant Coaches Amy Bush, Danny Essel, Maura Delany Sophie Kocheff, and Kassandra Pastor are working hard to ensure that all swimmers are gaining the skills and confidence necessary to swim their best and make a positive contribution to the team this season.

Swimmers of the Week!

Each week Coach Scheider and the assistant coaches nominate swimmers of the week in the Panther Paw Newsletter. Swimmers of the week are awarded by the coaches for a job well done, not only at the meet, but also during practice for the past week.

The following swimmers have been highlighted for the first two weeks of the season:

8 & Under

Johnathon Kyles-Johnathon works hard each day and it showed in the meet at Pinegate. He had great swims including his awesome free relay anchor leg where he brought home an exciting win for the Panthers.

Olivia Waite- Olivia scored the most points in her age group at the meet last weekend, and showed team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the meet.

9-10 years

Eleanor Zbiegien -Eleanor has been working hard and listening to all Coach Maura has to say about fixing her strokes. She earned best times at the meet!

Kaitlin Johnson- Kaitlin has worked hard at practice, leading the 9-10 lanes and doing well at the meet. Great job Kaitlin!

11-12 years

Josie Holody-Josie works hard daily and is able to swim any event at a high caliber.

Olivia Kitchen-Olivia took on two fo the harder events this week and dominated in both. She sets a good example at practice by being early each day.

13-15 years

Ryan O’Connell- Ryan works at practice, swimming with the high schoolers and won his events at the Pinegate meet.

Zoe Pesek-Zoe won each of her races this last weekend by large margins. She leads her lane and pushes herself each day in the pool.
