Outdoor Movie Night & Euclid’s Rib Cook-Off Finals: FREE (delicious) Fun for the Whole Family

Don’t miss “DUMBO” (or your chance to eat Euclid's best ribs) during a FREE event at Bluestone Elementary School on Saturday, September 21st.

Don’t forget your lawn chair, blanket and bug spray when you head out to Euclid’s last Outdoor Movie Night of the season on Saturday, September 21st. This month’s movie is the 2019 release of “DUMBO” as selected by popular vote on a social media poll earlier this summer.

The movie will be on the field at Bluestone Elementary School off of E.260th Street. The movie will start at sun-down, around 8:00pm.

Join us at 7pm to grab a great spot for viewing the film, play giant lawn games... and to enjoy a rack of ribs. YES! The first ever Euclid Rib Cook-Off Finals will take place at the school just before movie night begins.

Euclid resident Darren W Carter and Ward III Councilwoman Taneika Hill developed the idea for a Cook-Off competition, which began with semi-final rounds judged at City Hall in August.

Contestants across Euclid’s 8 wards will be grilling out on Saturday evening and competing to see which resident makes the best ribs in Euclid. Ribs will be for purchase and there will be a People’s Choice Award in addition to the judge’s trophies.

Thanks to Aladdin Rents, free popcorn will be available to attendees while supplies last. The new chapter of the Euclid Kiwanis will be selling additional snacks and beverages to help wash down those delicious ribs.

Free parking and restrooms will be available at the school. Minors must be accompanied by an adult per the City’s curfew.
