Recher Hall - The new place to go for a Fish Fry and MORE

If you are looking for delicious food, huge portions, and an affordable price - head to Recher Hall on Friday Nights between 5 and 9 PM.

Recher Slovenian Home is located at 20713 Recher Ave off East 200th street by Drug Mart. The bar is in the basement. It is a club and you need to be buzzed in. It is worth it.

My wife had the breaded pork chops. Two huge pork chops lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. They were thick, juicy and I was lucky to get a taste. The pork chops were served with green beans, roll and butter, and a mountain of home fries just like my Momma used to make. All that for only $ 11.00.

I had the fish fry. Three large pieces of beer-battered boneless whitefish was served with roll and butter, homemade French fries, and Slovenian (oil and vinegar) coleslaw. And all that for only $12.00.

There is entertainment later in the evening, but I was home snoozing by then.

Chef Pat Bryan has done a fantastic job bringing the Fish Fry back to the neighborhood. Get buzzed into the club and give it a try.
