Completed in 1913 in the Classical Revival Style, Shore Cultural Centre served its first 75 years as a school before transforming into a community center. Many of the unique spaces designed especially for a school are now available for the public to rent: event rooms, classrooms, dance studios, a band room, a gymnasium, and an auditorium. Shore Cultural Centre is conveniently accessed from I-90 or Lakeshore Boulevard and has plenty of free parking.

Our two event rooms have hosted baby showers, reunions, birthday parties for ages 12 and under, and celebrations of life. Shore’s Landing holds 40 to 60 people, while the Community Room will accommodate 75 to 100. Each room includes tables and chairs as well as a kitchenette for basic food preparation.

Need more space for your guests? Larger groups use the Center Gym which has space for at least 150 people depending on the setup. The gym is a great location for a child’s birthday party since it offers plenty of open space for games and activities. The Center Gym is also available for basketball clubs, fitness classes, and other recreational uses.

Our naturally-lit dance studios have professional-grade wood floors. One of the two studios has a sprung floor to absorb shock and provide a more comfortable surface for dancing. These spaces are perfect for dance practices and classes.

The band room, which is used for rehearsals by the Euclid Symphony Orchestra, has a three-tiered floor and plenty of chairs for musicians.

The historic Shore auditorium boasts renowned acoustics and stunning theater architecture. With seats for 850 and a spacious backstage area to accommodate large set pieces, it is perfect for performances of all types and sizes from church productions to recitals to community theater troupes. Our auditorium is one of just a few rentable auditorium spaces in the Cleveland area.

Our website at www.shoreculturalcentre is a great place to see photos of our spaces and find Frequently Asked Questions. Spaces are available for viewing in person between 10:00 - 4:00 PM from Monday through Friday or at other times by appointment by calling 216-289-8578. Shore Cultural Centre at located at 291 E 222nd Street, Euclid, OH.
